Sasha Chase 3 months agoIf i go there during the afternoon when its busy they may have 2 cashiers there; at night sometimes zero. They have a sign at self checkout: 10 items or less, yet i constantly see people with 30 or 40 items in their cart. Yes, they do have high quality grocery items, and decent prices but their stock and selection is always limited and many items do not have tags so you dont know how much they are. At one time i may have given them a 3 or 4 star review, but i always leave the store dissapointed. Some employees are helpful and efficient, others seem totally inept and oblivious to customer needs. One time i asked an employee where prepaid phones were and he said they dont have them, then i asked another employee who showed me where they were and helped me pick one out.
Kristen M 8 months agoThe drive up pickup experience at this Target is absolutely deplorable. Multiple times, I have waited over 20 minutes to get my order. If you are there at 8am when the pickup opens - even if no other cars are there - they will wait until 7-8 people get there, and bring all orders out at once (and then fail to prioritize delivering to the cars based on order of arrival) - pure laziness. This has happened to me multiple times, so I'm confident it is how they operate. I will only be doing pickup orders at the Six Forks Target moving forward since their pickup team and service is so much better.
Bridget Mivsek a month agoI was not very impressed with Target at North Hills. The store itself was clean and orderly. It was trying to find a store associate that was distressing. I finally got help from the assistant manager, who sent the Customer Service Rep with me (after waiting for 10 minutes of more for someone to help) & found the product I was looking for. Upon checking out, the product rang up for more than the online advertisement (in which I really pushed for the lower price). The manager of the self-checkout area was kind enough to adjust the product to the sale price and after I had paid for item, he was able to get a gift receipt for me. I would say that I'd be likely to shop at this Target again, but even with these 2 kind gestures, it's not worth the headache of trying to locate something and have to hunt for any associate to help find it. Thanks, but no thanks Target.
Murphy Bovbjerg 4 months agoI usually like this target, but it seems the employees have forgotten that customers aren’t just an inconvenience to them. I totally understand stocking, but I don’t understand stocking by putting 3 or 4 giants carts full of loose cardboard one after another in the aisles so you can’t even slip around. If it was one section, I’d understand, but it seemed to be every section in the store, to be ignored by what appeared to be a very “put upon for having to stand near the registers” employee very loudly complaining about customers in the earshot of customers to his coworker! Honestly a little shocked and saddened by such a poor shopping experience from somewhere that used to be a fun place to browse the cute decor and pick up necessities.
Scott velasco a month agoThis is a very niche complaint but a legitimate one in my view. It is June 6th 2026, the Carolina Hurricanes are in the Stanley cup finals. The target is right in the middle of Raleigh, where the Hurricanes play. There isn’t one stitch of Carolina Hurricanes gear in this entire place. I had to go to Target in Cary to find Hurricanes apparel. Come on guys, that arena sells out every single night. Do a better job of knowing the city you’re located and the community that lives within it.
