This Target on Rea Rd is fantastic—super organized with a great tech section, clean restrooms, and a lovely range of maternity wear. They’ve even got Taylor Swift’s new album on vinyl and plenty of fun Halloween stuff to explore! Plus, there’s an eye clinic inside for quick checkups—so convenient while shopping!

This Target used to feel like one of the safer, more dependable stores in the area. That is no longer the experience. Over the past several visits, the parking lot has become increasingly chaotic and unsettling. Large groups of teens and young people frequently gather in the evenings, often taking over sections of the lot with loud cars, revving engines and unsafe driving behavior including burnouts. It creates an atmosphere that feels unmonitored and out of control. On one visit in particular, I also witnessed fireworks being set off in the parking lot, adding to the sense of disorder and raising real safety concerns for anyone nearby. It’s not just disruptive — it feels genuinely unsafe to be around, especially while trying to shop or walk back to your car. Even inside, the store feels outdated. But the real shift is everything around it. Getting in and out has completely changed the experience—you’re not just shopping anymore, you’re staying alert to what’s happening outside the entire time. It’s disappointing because this location used to be reliable. Now it feels like the safety and oversight in the surrounding area have fallen behind what a store like this should expect. I really hope management and security address what’s happening in the parking lot, because it’s becoming a major concern for customers.

New Super Target, very clean and never busy which is great! The staff is very friendly and they seem to have a good selection of products. My only complaint is their collector cards section is very very small, ecspecially for a super target. Compared to the Stomecrest or Blakeney target, the collector card section is a fraction of the size despite this target being significantly bigger than both the other locations

Target located at 9870 Rea Road in Charlotte, NC (Blakeney) is a well stocked, well run Target! They had everything I was looking for, in easy to find locations, though the store is a bit of a maze. Very competitive prices! It also includes a Starbucks at the front of it. My only complaint would be that there is limited parking for the very high volume that the lot gets. Store staff was friendly and helpful.

Did not find the product we were looking for. And picked up an item we did not realize was missing the balcony so we did not make that purchase. We only purchased one item and are satisfied.
