Walker Hillegass 9 months agoIt’s absurd how often the price rings up different (higher) at the register than marked on the aisle. The last two times I’ve been to the store something rang up at a higher price than marked, and I was only buying 5-10 things. This is far from the first two times it has happened to me. I mentioned shopping at target to a friend and unprompted they said I never go there anymore because the prices are always wrong. This is on top of seeing quite literally a dozen math errors on prices posted on only the last trip alone (calculating erroneous percentage discount based on pre and post discount prices on same sign - example says 15% off but pre discount price of $5 and current price of $2.5). I can’t think of a single instance of any large corporation ever making errors this frequently. It’s an every trip to the store event now. Just mind blowing that they can be this bad at such a basic functional aspect of running a retail store. Honestly it’s really sad. And they owe me money but I’m not driving back each time to get $2. I’m just going to take my business elsewhere.
J R 3 weeks agoI’ve never seen a more lazy group of employees. I saw the manager they said with several employees in the back Starbucks area, goofy, and off while the line was about six people deep.
Kelly Cassidy 3 months agoAs an introvert, I like being able to go into target knowing that I’ll mostly be left alone. If I use self-checkout, I know I won’t have to interact with a single person except the occasional “pardon me” when maneuvering around another customer. I see target employees, and they are always working hard, but they keep to themselves— which I respect as customer service work is grueling. However, I was at Target on Marsh Landing around 9pm last night, Saturday 04/04/2026, and something wildly different happened. I didn’t realize it until today when I was reading a news article about Target’s corporate policy of clamping down on personality of employees in the name of consistency (TheStreet—Analysis: Target Repeats Starbucks Big Mistake). The difference happened while I was back in electronics looking for a USB-C to Lightning cable. While I was searching for the cable I noticed an employee helping another customer find what they were looking for and answering their questions. After he helped that customer he actually came over to me, said hello, and asked me if I needed any help. I said no, and he moved on to help someone else. Now this isn’t huge in terms of above and beyond customer service, but in a business so absent of human interaction, it stuck out to me especially after reading the analysis article. I just wanted to say kudos to the employee, sorry I didn’t catch his name. He was courteous, genuine and helpful, without seeming like he had some corporate playbook on human interaction shoved down his throat. So five stars for him, one star for target finally shedding its image of being anything other than a soulless, corporate machine.
Leah Jung 7 months agoI had the best experience with the barista today! She truly went above and beyond. I told her the kind of flavors I liked and asked her to make whatever she recommended and wow, she created the best drink I’ve ever had. You could tell she really listened and put thought into it. Her kindness, attention to detail, and talent made my day. It’s rare to meet someone who not only loves what they do but also makes sure the customer leaves happier than they arrived. I’ll definitely be coming back because of her!
Barrito a year agoMy go-to store for paper products, organic oatmeal, food, cleaning supplies, and baby clothes. I go here more frequently since they added groceries.
