Kal Sukar 3 months agoThis Target is a solid 4-star spot and one I find myself coming back to regularly. It’s convenient, well-stocked, and has a great variety of products all in one place—from groceries and household essentials to clothing, electronics, and seasonal items. The layout is spacious and generally easy to navigate, which makes the overall shopping experience pretty smooth. One of the standout parts of this location is the selection. The grocery section is actually quite decent for a Target, with enough fresh items and quick options to cover most needs without having to make a separate stop. The seasonal displays are also well done and worth checking out—they usually have a good mix of practical and fun items. Staff are friendly and helpful when you do interact with them, although at times it can be a bit difficult to find someone on the floor if you need assistance. When you do, they’re polite and willing to help, which is always appreciated. That said, this location can get pretty busy, especially during peak hours and weekends. When that happens, some areas—particularly clothing and home goods—can feel a bit messy or picked over. It’s not terrible, but it does take away from the overall experience. Checkout is another area where things can be inconsistent. Self-checkout helps, but lines can still build up, and having more registers open during busy times would definitely improve the flow. Overall, this Target gets the job done really well. It’s reliable, convenient, and has everything you need, even if it could use a bit more organization and staffing during high-traffic times. Solid 4 stars.

Mark and Java 4 months agoOn Monday (President's Day), I used Drive-Up ordering at the Anaheim Hills Target for the very first time, and unfortunately, it was a frustrating experience. The order was ready on time (within the promised two hours), but instead of the 10 items I ordered, I only received 8. That was disappointing. I admit I didn’t verify the items at the time of pickup, but the employee who brought out my order simply dropped the bags off without saying a word and quickly disappeared back into the store. There was no confirmation, no review of the order--nothing. When I got home and realized items were missing, I had to go back on the app to request a refund. I was able to get a refund for one item, but for some reason the second missing item wouldn’t process for a refund. It was only about $4, but it wasn’t about the money--it was about the inconvenience. I ended up having to drive back to the store to buy the item, which completely defeated the purpose of using Drive-Up in the first place. I understand employees are likely under pressure to meet the two-hour promise, but accuracy and basic customer interaction matter. I would have been much happier waiting three hours if it meant the order was verified and complete. Speed shouldn’t come at the expense of quality and customer service. Very disappointed with the Drive-Up process at this location.
Salvador Monella 4 months agoI'm not sure what sorts of standards one uses to rate a department store, like Target, but I'll give it try anyways. This Target isn't the biggest Target store out there, but it's the one we got. It's always clean and well stocked. The staff is nice and the bathrooms are clean. The door doesn't seem to be a haven for shoplifters and other reprobates. The grocery department offers what I would consider a moderate amount of products. They have enough stuff that if buy from here you won't starve, but their selection is a tad limited, and their fresh produce (etc.) is a couple notches below "limited." I think this store is okay for the basics if one is shopping for sundries, makeup, personal care items (soap, shampoo, etc.), clothing, shoes, toys, office products and minor house furnishings, but their selection isn't the widest. I haven't been to many Target stores, but the other ones I have been to were larger and had more stuff than this store. Still, this store seems to fill a niche somewhere between convenience store and large department store. Good for a standard, common items. I don't know if this is a hallmark of Target stores generally, or this store in particular, or if it is a function of the area where this store is located, but I do not find their prices to be particularly low. They seem to be charging retail prices for most of the items they sell. Also, I wish they'd use more of their signature color, red in the store's decor. I mean, it has red in many places, but the floors aren't red and the ceiling isn't red and the bathrooms aren't red and the food refrigerators aren't red, so a lot of improvement possible there with the color scheme.
marlene zermeno 8 months agoToday was the drop of the hello kitty Starbucks collection. I stood in line and waited for target to open. Once we were inside I waited in line at the Starbucks check out since the stuff was behind the counter. The HR lady decided she wanted to help and started passing out the hello kitty plushies to all of the people in the back of the line. Instead of starting at the front of the line (where we were) I asked her for one as I was waiting for it like I was told and she said I had to keep waiting that I was next in line and would get one at the counter. Once I got to the cashier she said they no longer had anymore. I waited in line for an hour and did not get anything because the HR lady handing them out to everyone who arrived after. The manager came up to me and told me there was nothing she could do. That she could sell me a mug but the plush was for my 3 year old daughter (who was with me and also asked the manager for one and was told no). They were very rude and unreasonable with the way they handled this drop. They completely ignored first come first serve and handed everything to the people who showed up later and ignored all of us who were there earlier. Everyone in the front of the line was left without one and everyone in the back had one.
