Swwrsk 2 weeks agoAbsolutely ridiculous experience. I found an item sitting on the shelf, clearly displayed for customers to pick up and purchase. It was the last one available, so naturally I was excited to find it. I took it to the register, only to be be told that it couldn't be sold because it wasn't registered in the system. So let me get this straight: the item is allowed to sit on the shelf where customers can find it, carry it around the store, and bring it to checkout, but suddenly it's impossible to sell once someone actually wants to buy it? Makes perfect sense. I asked multiple times whether there was any way to purchase it or whether there was an alternative solution. Every time I was told no because it wasn't in the system. No effort to help, no workaround, just "no." If an item cannot be sold, why is it on the sales floor? Is the inventory system running the store, or are the employees? Because from a customer's perspective, putting products on shelves that customers aren't allowed to buy seems like a pretty effective way to waste everyone's time. The most frustrating part is that the item will probably end up being removed and thrown away anyway. Apparently selling it to a customer who is literally standing there offering to pay for it is out of the question, but letting it collect dust in a back room or end up in the trash is somehow the better option. Thank you, Target, for letting me find exactly what I was looking for, get excited about it, bring it all the way to checkout, and then tell me I can't buy it. Truly a fantastic customer experience.
Linda Hrushanyk 7 months agoTarget has always been one of my favorite stores. I had to make a return and the customer service person was so nice and I couldn’t believe how easy it was. I was also looking for an item and another customer service person told me where to find it. The store is getting ready for the holidays and everything is clean and neatly displayed. Thanks Target customer service people for your kindness. A true highlight of my day!
G 3 months agoI love this Target! The workers are super nice, the store is always clean, and everything I need is easy to find. Great experience every time.
KGQ NYC 4 years agoThere’s good news and bad news. The good news is the store is fairly well stocked and relatively clean. What’s nice about this store is it is huge so items like furniture that are not found at the smaller stores are available here. The bad news is that there are no more bags at this location. No bags at all. So bring your own bags or figure out how to carry your Target haul out. The other issue I had was with the registers not giving a receipt. An employee made a half-hearted attempt to fix the register but after several minutes, I walked away with no receipt. This isn’t the first time I felt the store was too short-staffed and many of the employees seemed untrained on simple tasks. This is the fault of Target, not the employees.
Barb Hauck-Mah (barbhmphilly) 2 years agoThe updated interior has improved sections for health and beauty products (Ulta focus), fresh produce and fresh meal kits. The electronics section is smaller and by the front door for security. Their kitchenware is much smaller now with little selection: they sell only white or black dishes. We had 2 easy pickups after online ordering and the counter staff were friendly. Expect to do self-checkout and need staff support if you are using a coupon.
