Target at the Brickyard in Chicago sucks! The employees are rude. I was completely ignored when I asked one of the employees to open another line because the only line that was opened was long and moving incredibly slow. Also, your receipt is checked like they do at the Walmarts that service predominantly Black and Brown people (and I say this because I’ve shopped at Walmart in predominantly white areas, and I have never been stopped and asked to check my receipt). I work hard for my money and to be potentially accused of stealing because you don’t have bags big enough to fit eight rolls of paper towels is not my problem. I find it incredibly offensive and I don’t have to spend my money anywhere I’m potentially labeled a thief. Do better by us! The Black dollar is powerful! We know our worth and don’t have to be treated poorly. I will never shop here again!

This location of Target is nice, and it is the same as the other locations. Going in here is a good experience because I never leave without buying some good quality products, like any products or items that catch my interest that the store offers. The store is hefty and there is so much stuff to see and to explore that it really needs a lot of time, which is why I really save a lot of time before going in here. The store is always clean and bright. The selections are mostly organized because there are also some parts inside the store that are really close to a mess, like everything is mixed to the point that it is hard to recognize which product is which and something like that. The grocery selection is nice, and the products are fresh, of good quality, and the prices are fair and reasonable. Aside from groceries, I also like to go in here for home goods and for their clothing section. The items from this store are really great because the quality is really good and the prices are very reasonable, especially for the items in the clearance section. There is so much nice stuff that they have in their clearance section, and everything is really a great deal because it is cheap and the quality is really great. Checkout here is sometimes quick and sometimes slow, especially if the line is long. Also, the store has ample and accessible parking.

The staff during the morning to mid-afternoon shift have terrible attitudes. I visit Target almost weekly, and this location is by far the worst in the area. While it’s been convenient lately, I’ve had four separate experiences with rude and disrespectful employees. A few days ago, a cashier was especially condescending when I accidentally rang up an item and asked for it to be removed. Her tone only changed once I requested the store manager’s information. The team here could really benefit from retraining in customer service; or at least in basic respect. We all have jobs and bills to pay; the least they could do is treat customers with a little courtesy.

Very good prices, helpful associates, I always find everthing I need. I never have to wait in long lines where cashiers are holding conversation with each other and you cant beat 5 percent off your purchess all the time every day. Cashiers are always very helpful and polite.
