Dolly Duffy 8 months agoWhat’s going on at the Gandy target in Tampa? I used to love it but it’s gross, dirty, and disorganized. No carts, looks as if it hasn’t been cleaned in forever, trash on the floor, items piled high and disorganized. It used to be my favorite store. How sad.
B F 10 months agoPleasant staff in all departments but the store just looks rundown. Clothing racks are stuffed with clothes no one is buying (bad buying decisions for the market) and shelves are a mess. Walmart down the street is more tidy. Not sure what’s happening… maybe this store is closing??? The store on North Dale Mabry is much better stocked and cared for. We are Target fans but this store needs an overhaul… Please. One year update—- lots of energy put into cleaning this store up. Gone are the racks and racks of never to be bought clothes. In its place a well organized clearance section. Grocery cold refrigerators have been reorganized and expanded into easy to access aisles. It’s looking a lot better… kudos to staff… so much cleaner. Keep pressing ahead… Thank you!
Pamela Bernard 3 months agoThere is not one piece of clothing in the entire store that will fit a bigger girl. They have almost no plus size clothing. This target is definitely on board for body shaming.
Citizen 4 months agoMy checkout experience with Crystal was one of the best retail checkout experiences I’ve had in a while. She was attentive, charismatic, and helped me save money on my purchase of some meal prep containers. You can tell Crystal takes her job seriously, and it comes through in her superior customer service. Crystal is a gem (no pun intended) and my interaction with her was a breath of fresh air.
Danielle Yells 3 months agoI had an extremely frustrating and concerning experience with this Target location during the BTS light stick release, and it highlighted serious issues with both communication and basic store management. A group of us arrived hours before opening and were clearly lined up at the entrance for this specific item. When the doors opened, there was zero direction from staff—no organization, no communication, nothing. Customers were left to run through the store trying to locate the item on their own, only to be told in the back that it wasn’t in stock. The Target app showed a stock of nine before the store opened. However, while we were in the back being told by an employee that there were no light sticks available—and that they never had any stock to begin with—a customer who had just come from another location informed us that two people had already purchased them at the front registers. So to be clear: customers were being told there was no inventory while inventory was actively being sold. Shortly after, another employee came out with a box containing the remaining light sticks. This level of contradiction is unacceptable. It shows a complete lack of coordination between staff, as well as a failure to accurately communicate inventory to customers who had been waiting for hours. Even more concerning, the lack of any crowd management created an unsafe environment. When you have a high-demand item and a large group of people waiting, there should be a clear plan in place. Instead, this was handled in a way that encouraged chaos, confusion, and unnecessary tension between customers. What’s most frustrating is that the people who arrived early, waited patiently, and tried to follow the process were ultimately the ones who missed out—while others were able to purchase items due to the disorganization. This was not just a matter of high demand. This was a failure in planning, communication, and execution. At a minimum, customers should be able to trust that store employees are providing accurate information and that inventory systems reflect reality. Unfortunately, this experience showed the opposite. Because of this, I no longer feel confident shopping at Target. I will not be returning to this location, and experiences like this make it difficult to justify continuing to shop with the company at all
