I usually came to this Target a lot when it opened many years ago because it was less crowded than the one on Laguna Blvd at the time. But not anymore. This Target has a lot of people like the one in Elk Grove now! The store is looking good and very clean inside. The parking lot is very busy and it is hard to get parking during peak or on weekends. The cashier counters are fast moving and the cashiers are polite.

In the midst of moving, I came to target so that I could get the mini that I need. I love target so much because they have the brands that I use in mini form as well as the skin care products that I get from the ordinary. I also found a pineapple exfoliate from the ordinary that I’ve been wanting to get online for over a year now, definitely a plus.

The workers there are definitely saving items for their friends/families. I went to target on Friday right when they opened at 8am for pokemon cards and didn’t see any. I asked one of the customer service workers if they were restocking today and she said that they have nothing in stock for pokemon. After that, I went home but later that day, my friend told me he went to the same target at 11am and saw that they just restocked the pokemon cards and it sold out right away. It looked very suspicious, almost as if they already had the cards in stock but didn’t restock it until their friends came and sold it to them. That is unfair to all the customers that came first and they shouldn’t have the power to gate-keep items for their own benefit or their close friends/family.

The Pokémon Target drop was handled so poorly by management. Can only hope they do some proper planning and coordinating for the June 6th drop to prevent people from just running amok and grabbing everything and anything they can. Enforce limits, setup some sorta queue system, and escort the people that had been waiting in line to the section of the store.

On 10/03/25 at approximately 3pm there was a vendor stocking trading cards at the Sacramento SW location. There was a whole cart or boxes, approximately 16-17 cases or product where the vendor was stocking to the shelf and we were told it was going to take a few hours. A line had formed in anticipation for Pokemon cards as I happened to be one of the first few in line. After about an hour of waiting, a customer walked by and loudly exclaimed “oh my god the line is so long I am not waiting in line. I’m just going to wait for Jasmine to clock in to give me some.” Now this is important because although I don’t know what specific title Jasmine holds she is an employee at this location. Shortly after this comment was made by this passing customer to which myself and several other customers heard in line. Jasmine herself went up to the vendor and told him specifically not to put out any pokemon cards and that they will not be stocking any of that today and that they will not disclose when. Keep in mind by most people had already been waiting an hour or more and the line had reached over 30+ people. Jasmine has walked by several times because but did not say anything until this point. It has also a known fact in the Pokemon community she will withhold product to save and hold for her own friends. There were over 5 cases of Pokemon product withheld from waiting customers when the actual vendor was stocking but the very next morning I saw people posting on social media they were able to purchase Pokemon products 10/04/25 the following morning after the products were withheld from customers in line the day before.
