I’ve never seen a staff so committed to doing absolutely nothing. Employees huddled in groups, avoiding eye contact like it was a sport. Shelves half-stocked, checkout lines backed up, and not a single person seemed to think any of it was their problem. Asked for help and got the energy of someone who had already mentally clocked out three hours earlier. Target, please hire people who actually want to be there.

My last encountered was the cashier that was ringing was being difficult and ringing some of my items twice. She sneezed in her hand wiped her hands on her clothes then took her sleeve and digging in her nose and whipping her sleeve on her clothes. I went to target yesterday to buy some stuff and decided to pay with cash instead of my debit card. It’s after I left the store and was on the bus I realized I gave her 325.00 for a total that was 224.42. I called the store multiple times no one answered the phone. I'm heading to the store now I'm praying that I get my money back or I will return all the items I bought. I’m so disappointed at myself for not paying with my card instead I wouldn’t be ripped off by the target store in SouthBay decided to keep my money. I’m praying for this Target to go out of business. Shoppers be careful to not make the same mistakes I made paying your items with cash especially when the money would stick to each other.

I am surprised by all the recent bad reviews. I don’t live in Boston, but I come here at least 6 times a year and I truly enjoy coming to this store! Good Lightning, ample aisles and well stocked. I must admit that during COVID time there were empty shelves, however, as of March 2022, that is not the case as you may see in my pictures. Each time I come here there are merchandising staff organizing and replenishing the shelves. You can find clothes for all sizes (petite and plus included) with a very good selection and good prices. My most favourite is the Home department. Lots of options, even though not too many decorative pillows. There is a CVS and a Starbucks in- store so, very convenient for a multi-shopping experience.

A warning: Don't come here to shop on a whim unless you have plenty of time to kill while waiting in the long checkout line that stretches across half the store. If you need anything that's locked in a cabinet, don't count on anyone coming by to open it no matter how long you wait. A tip: If you know what you need in advance, order online for store pickup and once the order is ready for pickup you'll be in and out in less than five minutes.

Big store, Big selection....sadly outside is A LOT of junkies crawling around South Hampton street. The store itself is amazing but you do have to be careful in the Target restroom (needle disposal box), outside to the right of the store (trash and the junkies laying around) and even the parking lot since the junkies can look for cars looking to break into them. TRUST ME, IT HAPPENS! But Target has a great selection of just anything you are looking for. You'll notice they have the medicines LOCKED UP simply because the junkies come in looking to steal.
